Martin Luther was an important person in the Reformation. He was a faithful believer and an inspirational preacher. But before he was sent to become a preacher, he was constantly wondering if God would judge him harshly. When I learned more about Luther, the I kept finding things in his life that I could relate with, including the thought of being sent to hell.

I have always known that I am a sinner and that I will never be perfect, but just recently, I have been questioning whether or not God WILL send me to Heaven. I know that Jesus died so that we could have the chance to spend eternity in Heaven and I have been told that all you have to do is believe that He did just that. But as I look around me, I see people that are devoted to Christ, that read their Bible’s everyday and are constantly praying. I do believe that Jesus died and rose again on the third day because He loves us. But I feel that I should be doing more with and about my faith and I fear that when the Judgement Day comes, I will be judged harshly.

This is my faith hurdle.  −Brenna
