I don't know how I stumbled on this article, but I recently lost my dog of 14 years while I've been at college. Its been very difficult. And yes, I think that since God knows when even the sparrows fall, that a dog as loved as yours (a dog that feels like a family member), God cares so much about them. So yes, they will be in heaven with us.

I'm sucking the tears back into my watery eyes after reading this touching article. So good. We have two pomeranians named Bambi and Bananas. I can't even think about them dying. But you're right. There is hope. And I strongly believe all dogs (and other animals) will go to Heaven. :)

Thanks for sharing! And thanks for joining FaithVillage. Look forward to reading more there!

Thanks for clarifying, Mike... I meant it not in terms of a lack of knowledge but blindness through deceit... lies and being people of the lie. And the sufferings in context above refer to those who are suffering evil so that others can see. Hope that helps.

I don't know if I would agree that without sin there would be no blindness. I think that innocent people can still be "blind" to truths and realities simply because they are not omniscient and have not learned yet (like the green-skinned Eve in Perelandra). Am I missing something?

Yes, of course, Dianne!! Cats too! Sorry to leave them out. I'm sure a certain "Congo" that mysteriously disappeared a month before we moved to CO will one day turn up in a heavenly gown. :)
