Its been very difficult. And yes, I think that since God knows when even the sparrows fall, that a dog as loved as yours (a dog that feels like a family member), God cares so much about them. So yes, they will be in heaven with us.

I think that innocent people can still be “blind” to truths and realities simply because they are not omniscient and have not learned yet (like the green-skinned Eve in Perelandra).
