I think you nailed it. I would just add that we like to focus on things like the poor when it comes to these types of posts but it is much broader than that. Social justice is found in all your relationships. How I treat and serve my wife is just as critical as how I serve the poor. Mosaic law is about the other person regardless of who it is. We are told the love the stranger, our neighbors, our family, and Jesus even added our enemies. One way to do so is to really nurture those opportunities we have to affect (not just effect) the people around us with God&#039;s love and grace.

It was clear that Mosaic law was laid down with the intention of helping the poor and strengthening community. Jesus preached on helping the poor many times.
