Tim Keller says egalitarians disbelieve in male headship…

Is it true that egals do not believe in male headship? Or is it true that they do but believe head doesn’t have a strict authoritative assignment to it?

He says he’d like to move past the stalemate on this issue, but to do that must mean proper understanding of both sides.

Also, his complementarian critique (which he does understand) is accurate. The principle has little practical import (and could it be a misunderstanding of the principle?).
