Friendship:
Building Community Together
Living Room Conference 2018
Wednesday, Sept 26 - Sunday, Sept 30

We want our friends to invite us to be ourselves.
Imagine a conference where each activity feels like a reunion with friends. You begin your day with a prayer walk in the crisp autumn air, and later relaxing under the swaying aspen for a picnic lunch with new friends. The day ends around the campfire, sharing stories. Five days to walk, eat, and learn together.
Dale and Jonalyn are inviting you to join them September 26 – 30, for Soulation’s second Living Room Conference, where our theme is not just hypothetical, but a lived experience — Friendship: Building Community Together.
What’s a “Living Room Conference”?
Once a year our online community looks forward to being in the same physical room together.
The Living Room Conference moves us from our cyber home to the Fincher’s living room. But this year we offer you more than a ticket to hear some great speakers with free time on the side. We will be orienting all scheduled events to build community. Will you join us?
What's included?
These activities will be included in the $385 registration fee (registrants will receive a full schedule of events):
- Formal introduction time and games
- Picnics and shared meals
- Open Mic time to share
- Campfire singing under the stars
- Guided hikes through White Woods
- Living Room talks with Dale and Jonalyn
- Scenic morning prayer walks
- Optional workshops:
- Watercoloring in White Woods with Jonalyn Fincher
- Hands-on instruction on reading Scripture aloud with Dale Fincher

Please note that lodging and meals are not included in the conference price.
Where is the conference held?
Most of our meetings will be held at Dale and Jonalyn Fincher’s home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado (13 miles south of town). We can’t wait for you to experience Autumn in our town, famous for Olympic athletes, natural hot springs, easy-to-difficult biking trails, hiking, ranching, and countless amenities. We’ve planned our conference dates for peak Fall color. You’ll be here just in time to see the aspen and oak dress in their brightest yellows, oranges, and reds. Dale often says that walking the autumn trails in White Woods is like walking on trails of gold.
Steamboat Springs is 30 minutes from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN). The Fincher home is a 20 minute drive south of Steamboat. Driving from Denver International Airport (DEN) takes between 3 and 4 hours on most days — the scenic drive is breathtaking! Grab a rental car or take a shuttle service from either airport. Find out more about shuttle service at Alpine Taxi (goalpine.com/dia).
