Biographical:

Caryn Rivadeneira is a writer and speaker and serves on the worship ministry staff at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church. She’s the author of five books: Broke: What Financial Desperation Revealed about God's Abundance (IVP, 2014), Shades of Mercy (River North, 2013), Known and Loved: 52 Devotions from the Psalms (Revell, 2013), Grumble Hallelujah: Learning to Love Life When It Lets You Down (Tyndale House, 2011) and Mama’s Got a Fake I.D.: How to Reveal the Real You Behind All that Mom (Waterbrook, 2009). Caryn is also a regular contributor to Christianity Today’s <a href="http://www.christianitytoday.com/women/writers/caryn-rivadeneira.html"Her.Meneutics, Re:Frame Media’s Think Christian, and the Soulation blog. Her work regularly appears in several other media outlets. And you can hear Caryn regularly on Moody Radio’s Midday Connection.

Caryn lives outside of Chicago with her husband, three kids and one pit bull.
